Welcome to Nebula Core!

Nebula Core is a privately owned an operated "cloud services" provider built and maintained by Victor Rossi, a hobbyist designer, photographer, and tech enthusiast. Nebula Core is the central component in a growing network of machines and services, and aims to reduce Nebula users' reliance on major cloud platform providers like Google or Amazon.

If you've got a Nebula account (formerly Catserver account), log in with your credentials in the upper right. Having an account allows you to access the full array of features and services offered by Nebula Core, and allows you to provide some feedback, if you see fit. It's pretty neato.

If you need an account, send me an email and I'll set you up. Due to limited resources, accounts are only provided to friends and family at this time.

I've added strip_tags() to all the form fields on the site to prevent people from adding certain unwanted..."elements"...to their profile pages. There are still a few tags allowed, though, which include a, b, center, i, img, br, ul, table, td, tr, strong, and p.

I know this still leaves a lot of freedom, but then again it'd be no fun to remove EVERYTHING, would it?

2010-06-18: Hold on there Apple, trying to give me a heart attack?

So of favorite Californian computer company has released an update to its awkwardly priced Mac Mini and, while being a decent hardware upgrade, it's nothing especially spectacular. Being slightly smaller, adorned in Apple's now iconic unibody aluminum exterior, and packing the same power as the current generation Macbook 13 inch, it would make a perfect home theatre pc if it only had an...wait what's this? An HDMI port? Jesus christ, it's about time. After HDMI having been an accepted standard for at least five years now, Apple's lack of acknowledgement to this has been a tad annoying to anyone with a passion for technology, such as myself, but this...one could only hope this is a sign that HDMI will be included on future Macintosh models. Macbooks maybe? The...iPad? Nah, that's too much to ask for.
